Village school imparts education to just 2 students
A village school in the southern province of Isparta has imparted education to just two students as the population of the village, which is 25 kilometers from the city center, has decreased over time.
The number of residents in the village, especially the young population, considerably decreased and eventually fell to nearly 330.
21 survive Turkey building collapse with no deaths
Twenty-one people survived being buried under heavy debris when a two-storey building collapsed in eastern Turkey, the government said, with no fatalities reported as search operations ended early on Nov. 10.
The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon on a busy street in the city of Malatya, as residents filled shops on their way home from work.

The tremor occurred at a depth of 6.94 kilometers (4.3 miles) in the Pütürge district at 11:27 a.m. local time (0827GMT), the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said.

Magnitude-5 earthquake shakes eastern Turkey
A magnitude-5 earthquake jolted eastern Turkey on June 5, according to the nation's disaster agency.
The earthquake occurred at the depth of seven kilometers (4.3 miles) in the Pütürge district of Malatya province, said the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) on its website.
