Actor and Oscar winner Leonard DiCaprio took part in international support for Pirin.

A day after Jared Leto sent a letter to Prime Minister Borissov about the fate of the natural park, a position was taken by DiCaprio through his foundation.

The government has dismissed Veselin Penev as Sofia District Governor. The position will be taken over temporarily by Zhivka Takeva - Parvanova. She is currently Deputy Sofia District Governor. She will occupy the post until a permanent Governor is appointed.

The Vice Chairman of GERB and leader of the parliamentary group  of the party, Tsvetan Tsevatanov has called on the Reformist Bloc to withdraw Sofia District Governor Veselin Penev because of the Tsarski konyushni (Royal stables) deal. Tsvetanov made a statement to the media in Parliament, together with the chief of the legal commission, Danail Kirilov.
