Pahor and Johannesson discus Ukraine, Western Balkans
Ljubljana – President Borut Pahor and his Icelandic counterpart Gudni Thorlacius Johannesson called for a diplomatic solution to the Ukraine crisis as they met in Ljubljana on Saturday. They highlighted Slovenia’s important role in the Western Balkans and reaffirmed the good relations between Slovenia and Iceland.

Erdoğan hails strategic partnership with Slovenia
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Aug. 10 hailed the strategic partnership between Türkiye and Slovenia which was established in 2011.
Erdoğan and President Borut Pahor of Slovenia held a joint press conference following their tête-à-tête and the meeting between the delegations at the Presidential Complex.

Pahor and Erdogan discuss cooperation, Ukraine, W Balkans
Ankara – President Borut Pahor met his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan before wrapping up his two-day trip to Ankara on Wednesday. The presidents confirmed that relations between Slovenia and Turkey were good and friendly. They talked about the war in Ukraine and the Western Balkans, agreeing on a meeting in September.

Golob, Pahor send condolences after Polish bus crash
Ljubljana – Prime Minister Robert Golob and President Borut Pahor have sent condolences to their Polish counterparts after the fatal crash of a Polish bus in Croatia killed at least twelve Polish nationals.
Golob wrote to Mateusz Morawiecki to express sincere condolences, extending his sympathy to the families of all those killed in the crash, the government said on Twitter.
