Prosecutor-General Geshev Called Caretaker PM Yanev and Chairwoman of CEC
Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev spoke on the phone with caretaker Prime Minister Stefan Yanev and the Chairwoman of the Central Election Commission Kamelia Neykova.
During the calls he confirmed the commitment of the Prosecutor's Office for active interaction between all responsible institutions to ensure the conduct of fair and transparent elections.
Police Arrested 3 Men for Alleged Vote-buying
Three men from Haskovo region (Southern Bulgaria) were arrested for alleged vote-buying. Days before the parliamentary elections, they have been detained with lists of 28,000 voters, confirmed caretaker Minister of interior, Boyko Rashkov, on July 5.

Ministry of Interior Will Investigate 14 Organ Transplant Surgeries in Lozenets Hospital
The General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime is investigating 14 transplants performed at the Lozenets government hospital, Interior Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Boyko Rashkov said today.
He specified that the investigation started after the Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov handed over the results of the inspections in the hospital to the Ministry of Interior.
Caretaker Interior Minister: Top Prosecutor Covers up for Corrupt Politicians, Magistrates in Bulgaria
Bulgarian caretaker interior minister Boyko Rashkov accused on Sunday the prosecution of keeping secret a list of 38 magistrates and politicians who own undeclared property abroad.
The list was made back in 2019 when the Bulgarian authorities asked foreign countries to inform them of the property owned by Bulgarian nationals.

Head of Cabinet of Caretaker Interior Minister Resigned
Elena Ficherova, head of the cabinet of Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov, has applied for dismissal, the ministry said.
"The act is motivated by the desire not to cause negatives for the political cabinet. Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov has granted the request. The order comes into force today," the statement said.
