Britney Spears is shooting down rumors of a new album, vowing to "never return to the music industry."

At the same time, Spears noted in an Instagram post, she's still writing music - just for other people.

Britney Spears' memoir "The Woman in Me" has sold 1.1 million copies in the U.S. alone through its first week.

"I poured my heart and soul into my memoir, and I am grateful to my fans and readers around the world for their unwavering support," Spears said in a statement released on Nov. 1 by Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster.

Two years after escaping her father's guardianship, Britney Spears recounts her years as a superstar who became a victim of her success in a highly anticipated memoir being published today.

In less than one month, the curtains are set to close on the colorful and hits-laden Broadway production, "Once Upon a One More Time," otherwise known as the Britney Spears musical. The show is set to end its run on Sept. 3, having only opened on June 22.

Britney Spears will publish a highly anticipated memoir this fall, some two years after a court freed her from a strict conservatorship many deemed abusive and exploitative.

The magnetic pop star's book "The Woman In Me" is set for publication on Oct. 24, after Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, acquired it.

So far, about 150 participants of "EuroPride" have arrived, reports a reporter from the scene. There are many foreigners among those present. Many of the participants do not speak Serbian. Despite the rain, protests and a large number of police officers, both in uniform and in civilian clothes, the atmosphere is still very positive and cheerful.

Pop princess Britney Spears' wedding was interrupted on June 9 when her ex-husband gatecrashed the party, U.S. media reported.

Spears and her partner, Sam Asghari, were readying to wed at her luxury pad near Los Angeles when the proceedings were interrupted, Variety and other trade media said.

Britney Spears on April 11 announced she is pregnant with her third child, five months after a judge ended the controversial guardianship the pop icon said barred her from having more children.

"I got a pregnancy test... and uhhhhh well... I am having a baby," the 40-year-old said on Instagram.

Britney Spears has landed a "record-breaking" publishing deal for a tell-all memoir about her rise to fame, her relationship with her family and her experience living under a conservatorship for more than a decade.

Britney Spears has been freed from her father. And she could be freed entirely from court control within weeks.

In a major victory for the pop star, a judge on Wednesday suspended the singer's father from the conservatorship that has controlled her life and money for 13 years, saying the arrangement "reflects a toxic environment."
