Diyarbakır’s museum complex turns 90
The İçkale Museum Complex, located in the central Sur district of the eastern province of Diyarbakır, welcomed some 134,000 visitors last year.
The museum, which is home to works from 12,500-year-old artifacts, is preparing to celebrate 90 years of its foundation.

Golf extends Antalya tourism to 12 months
While 460,000 rounds were played on golf courses in the Belek tourism region of the southern province of Antalya's Serik district in 2023, a general manager of the golf club, has emphasized that golf is a tool that spreads tourism to 12 months, considering that players are active for eight months.

Women’s taekwondo national team becomes world champion
At the 2023 World Taekwondo Championships held in Azerbaijan, Türkiye has achieved a historical success as the country ranked first in the women's national team to become champions, winning the world championship as a team for the first time.
The World Championship held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, with the participation of 949 athletes from 45 countries, has ended.
New finds come to light in Alexandria Troas
Works that have been continuing in the ancient city of Alexandria Troas, located in a region close to the sea in the northwestern province of Çanakkale's Ezine district, have brought to light two gates of the city's bazaar, believed to be 2,200 years old.

Azerbaijan-Turkey Brotherhood Park opens
The Azerbaijan-Turkey Brotherhood Park opened on May 10 in the city of Guba in Azerbaijan's northeastern Quba district.
The park's opening ceremony was attended by Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bağcı, Ziyaddin Aliyev, the head of the Guba executive authority, and lawmakers Ahliman Amiraslanov and Ganira Pashayeva.

Turkey appoints new ambassadors to 13 countries
Turkey has appointed 13 ambassadors to foreign posts, according to the Official Gazette early on April 3.
A decree published with the signature of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Cahit Bağcı was appointed envoy to Azerbaijan.
