National leader of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Klaus Iohannis believes the final breakaway of former PNL leader Calin Popescu Tariceanu from all Liberal roots is inevitable, telling the people that a vote for Tariceanu is in fact a vote for Victor Ponta.

The members of the Reformist Liberal Party (PLR) will hold their first congress on Aug. 1-2 at Parliament Palace to elect the leadership of the party.
