Swiatek racks up 31st straight win
World number one Iga Swiatek was the only top 10 women's seed left standing at the French Open on May 28.
Swiatek, the 2020 champion, dropped serve three times against 95th-ranked Danka Kovinic of Montenegro before sealing a 6-3, 7-5 third round victory, her 31st successive win.

Swiatek powers Poland to BJK Cup finals, Czechs top Britain
New No. 1 Iga Swiatek powered Poland into the Billie Jean King Cup Finals for the first time and they were joined by other newcomers Italy and Kazakhstan.
Other winners included old hands the Czech Republic, six-time winners since 2011, Spain, Canada and the United States.
The United States and Ukraine were 2-2 and playing a decisive doubles in their qualifier in Asheville.
Italy leads Romania 1-0 in Billie Jean King Cup, after victory of Elisabetta Cocciaretto
The Italian women's tennis team leads the Romanian team, 1-0, after Elisabetta Cocciaretto defeated Irina Maria Bara, 6-1, 6-4, on Friday, in the Billie Jean King Cup play-offs, in the Polyvalent Hall in western Cluj-Napoca. Cocciaretto (20 years old, WTA's 111st) prevailed in one hour and 29 minutes over the Romanian team's first racket (26 years old, WTA's 132nd).

Romania's Halep advances to the round of 16 of Miami Open tournament
Romania's tennis player Simona Halep , currently world's number 3, on Sunday advanced to the women's singles round of 16 of the 5,381,235-US-dollar WTA Miami Open 2015 tournament, after defeating Italy's Camila Giorgi, 6-4, 7-5.
