Six Balkan Foreign Ministers will Discuss the Situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina in London
The foreign ministers of six Western Balkan countries will meet in London today to discuss the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is stated in a statement by British Foreign Secretary Elizabeth Truss, who will chair the event.
Britain’s Johnson Appoints Military Chief as Balkans Envoy
Air Chief Marshall Sir Stuart Peach has been named British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Envoy for the Western Balkans, adding to the list of international envoys to the region after the United States and European Union did the same with Gabriel Escobar and Miroslav Lajcak.
London sends its man to the Balkans; "We must not allow violence"
He states that the region is facing the greatest threat to its stability and security in the last two decades, and that we must not allow a return to violence and divisions from the past, the British government announced today.
Sarajevo Unveils Memorial to Victims of Kazani Pit Killings
Sarajevo mayor Benjamina Karic, accompanied by the top international official in Bosnia and Herzegovina, High Representative Christian Schmidt, and the vice-president of the Federation entity, Milan Dunovic, unveiled the new memorial on Monday and laid flowers next to the Kazani pit where the remains of those killed in 1992 and 1993 were found.
Merkel in the Balkans repeated the sentence from 2015
After leaving Belgrade, she arrived in Tirana, where she was welcomed by the Prime Minister of that country, Edi Rama.

Turkish foreign minister meets Balkan officials
Turkey's foreign minister on Sept. 13 separately met with the recently appointed high representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the Serbian president of the National Assembly.
In a Twitter post, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said: "Pleased to host Christian Schmidt, recently appointed High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina."

Vucic and Schmidt: "Irresponsible, dangerous"
Vui and Schmidt met at the "Mir" villa, and it is expected that the two officials will discuss the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina and overcoming the crisis that arose after the BiH Parliament adopted the Law on Ban of Genocide Denial, after which the representatives of Republika Srpska decided not to participate in the work of joint institutions.

As a reminder, Dzaferovic called on the High Representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, to raise the issue of removing the Serbian member Milorad Dodik. President of Serbia pointed out that that would be a dangerous precedent.
