MPs from the governing Socialist Party on Monday decided to postpone approval of changes in two laws intended to ban people from running for parliament who collaborated with the Communist-era Sigurimi secret service after an intervention by the EU's ambassador to Tirana.
Dodik Snubs Bosnia’s ‘Anti-Serbian’ German Ambassador
Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik, who now chairs Bosnia's tripartite state presidency, has refused to meet Christiane Hohmann, the outgoing German ambassador to Bosnia, claiming that she has worked against the interests of the Bosnian Serb community, SRNA news agency reported on Wednesday.
West Helps Bosnia Dispose of Yugoslav Weapons
Bosnia and Herzegovina plan to destroy 8.3 tons of remaining old munitions and mine-explosive devices, known as MIMES, by the end of 2020.
The Netherlands has been contributing to the destruction of this unstable ammunition for four years, and this year donation to this goal is worth around 200,000 euros.

Bosnia Intensifies Efforts to Destroy Outdated Ammunition
The new laboratory, the fourth of its kind in the country, is scheduled to open next month as Bosnia continues efforts to destroy old and dangerous munitions as part of the conditions imposed by NATO to activate its membership action plan for the Western military alliance.
