Convicted N17 terrorist on hunger strike rushed to hospital

Convicted November 17 terrorist Christodoulos Xiros was rushed to the Papanikolaou Hospital in Thessaloniki on Friday for reasons that were not made public though they are believed to be connected to his ongoing hunger strike.

Xiros, who is serving multiple life sentences at Diavata Prison, has been on hunger strike for three weeks, demanding improved detention conditions.

N17 hitman expected back in prison on Saturday

Despite the outcry over the release from prison on Thursday of November 17 terror group hitman Dimitris Koufodinas on a two-day furlough, the government appeared defiant on Friday, while critics at home and abroad expressed concern that he may break the terms of his release, as other terrorists have done in the past, and not return to prison as scheduled on Saturday. 

Turkey seizes property of two Greek Marxists

Turkey’s Official Gazette – the country’s ledger of legislative announcements – announced the seizure of the assets in Turkey of Greek-born Christodoulos Xiros and Nikolaos Maziotis for their involvement in terrorist activities in Greece. The seizure is in accordance with the United Nations Security Council decision no. 1373.

Police find planned Korydallos prison bombing testing ground

The police have discovered the location where convicted terrorist Christodoulos Xiros and the Radical anarchist Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei conducted tests for the planned bombing of high-security Korydallos prison. The area was at a building 29.5 km off the old Athens-Corinth national highway.

Police arrest young female accomplice of convicted terrorist Xiros

"Aggeliki," a suspected accomplice of convicted terrorist Christodoulos Xiros, was arrested on Monday morning at Salamis by the Greek police.

The young woman was reportedly helping Xiros while he was still at large to plan the escape of the imprisoned members of the Conspiracy of Fire Cells militant group from Korydallos prison.

Alleged accomplice of N17 terrorist Xiros arrested

Authorities on Saturday arrested yet another alleged accomplice of convicted "Nov17? terrorist Christodoulos Xiros in the greater Athens district of Galatsi.

A DNA sample of the suspect has reportedly been traced to genetic material found on a booby-trapped parcel mailed to a police precinct in the town of Itea, a tax bureau in western Athens and to a prosecutor.
