FM to German MP: Kosovo won't be given away for EU carrot
The Serbian foreign minister and first deputy prime minister in this way reacted to a German MP from Chancellor Angela Merkel's party saying in Belgrade on Wednesday that he had a message, and that it was that Serbia "cannot be a part of the EU until it de jure recognizes Kosovo."

FM doesn't believe Thaci and Haradinaj will be arrested
Dacic assessed that this was proof that Western powers are keeping the two former leaders of the KLA ("Kosovo Liberation Army") "in the game."
Dacic told Radio Television Serbia (RTS) that he had information from Sheveningen about "prison cells being urgently freed up" - but that he did not believe that Thaci and Haradinaj would be arrested.

Dacic also said he did not think that "the story about delimitation is over" - in this way commenting on President Vucic saying in Moscow on Tuesday that there was nothing to be said on this subject, as the idea has been rejected by "EU states, but also by the Albanians and the Serbs."

Dacic told RTS that he talked with ministers from Oman and Uganda - countries that are on Pristina's list of those who have recognized Kosovo as independent - during the session of the General Assembly.

Dacic also stressed that Pristina authorities are sending "very different messages that have nothing to do with reality" on a daily basis.
Compromise should be sought on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, he continued, and described Hashim Thaci' statement regarding a merger of (Kosovo) with Presevo by saying that Thaci "must say something, because he is under attack from all sides."

He added that this piece of news was immediately found to be fake "because Thaci was supposedly to come to Presevo with EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn, but that was denied from the cabinet of Commissioner Hahn."

Dacic and Ljajic - who is also minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications - welcomed Ross at the Belgrade Nikola Tesla airport and "expressed great satisfaction over his first visit to Serbia," the Serbian government said on its website.
