The Bosnian state court convicted Mehmed Alesevic, a former military police officer with the Bosnian Army's 505th Buzim Brigade, of seriously abusing civilian detainees during the army's conflict with the forces of the separatist Autonomous Province of Western Bosnia statelet during wartime.

The Bosnian state court found ex-policeman Simo Stupar guilty on Tuesday of participating in a widespread and systematic attack on the Bosniak population in the Vlasenica area from April 1992 to the end of September that year, involving murders, the abuse of civilians and forcible disappearances.

Bosnia's State Prosecution has asked the State Court to issue a warrant and order custody for Goran Tesic, who is on trial for crimes committed in the eastern town of Vlasenica and has gone missing.

The Bosnian state court on Wednesday acquitted Slavko Milovanovic, a former member of the reserve police forces at the Public Security Station in the village of Skelani in the Srebrenica municipality, of crimes against humanity.
