MERDARE - Patriarch Porfirije of the Serbian Orthodox Church on Wednesday began a visit to Kosovo-Metohija, where he will celebrate Christmas with Serbs living in the province.

Accompanied by a delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the patriarch will first visit the Patriarchate of Pec and then also Visoki Decani, Gracanica and other monasteries.

As a child, Abedin Pepaj would travel by horse or tractor to spend the summer with his family in the mountains that straddle Kosovo's western border with Montenegro, enjoying the panorama and the cool mountain air.

"After deletion of the Visoki Deani Monastery name-tag on Google maps yesterday and the prompt intervention of our IT team, the name of the Monastery has reappeared on the map again. Let's hope that such incidents will not happen again", the monastery Visoki Decani said on Twitter.
