Serbia successfully defend 3x3 basketball world cup title

VIENNA - The Serbia men's national 3x3 basketball team has successfully defended its World Cup title by beating the United States 21-19 in this year's World Cup final in Vienna on Sunday.

Supported by a large crowd of Serbian fans, Dejan Majstorovic, Marko Brankovic, Mihailo Vasic and Strahinja Stojacic overcame a 19-15 deficit to win the sixth World Cup gold for Serbia.

Serbian Team Wins 3×3 Basketball World Championship

Serbia's men's 3×3 basketball team won the Crelan FIBA 3×3 World Cup 2022 in Antwerp, Belgium on Sunday, defeating Lithuania 21:16. This was the fifth time Serbia won this competition, which has been organised seven times since 2012.

Dejan Majstorovic was named MVP of the competition. This was his fourth win with the team. They "played an amazing tournament", he said.

Serbia retain FIBA 3x3 World Cup title

NANTES - The Serbia men's national 3x3 basketball team has defended its World Cup title after beating The Netherlands in the final in Nantes, France.

Dusan Domovic-Bulut, Dejan Majstorovic, Marko Zdero and Marko Savic confirmed Serbia's supremacy in the sport after it also won the World Cups in Guangzhu, China, and Athens, Greece, in 2016 and 2012, respectively.
