Railway feasibility studies to be finalized by April 15

BUDAPEST - Delegations of Serbia and Hungary agreed in Budapest Thursday to finalize feasibility studies for an overhaul of the Belgrade-Budapest railway by April 15.

State Secretary in the Serbian Ministry of Transport Dejan Trifunovic told Tanjug that the studies would then be delivered to the Chinese side, who would complete it by June 30.

BELGRADE -- Serbia and Albania will propose to EU officials joint priority projects that can be funded from the EU funds meant for the Western Balkans.

This was announced by Serbia's State Secretary for Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Dejan Trifunovic on Sunday.

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament's committee on spatial planning, transport, infrastructure and telecommunications adopted on Friday the government report on May floods, which reads that the direct damage to infrastructure network is estimated at EUR 275.9 million while the extent of indirect damage is still being assessed.

BELGRADE -- 40 teams comprising 200 local and international experts will be established in Serbia to evaluate the damage caused by the floods.

This was agreed on Tuesday by representatives of relevant institutions and the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
