Italian Legend Roberto Baggio Is Next Participant in Stoichkov's Birthday Show

Legendary Italian footballer Roberto Baggio is the next player to confirm his participation in the show celebrating the 50th birthday of Bulgarian football legend Hristo Stoichkov next year.

With the confirmation of Baggio, the number of Ballon d'Or holders to take part in the show has risen to two, with Stoichkov being the other one to have been awarded the prize.

Two Croatian Football Legends to Take Part in Stoichkov's Birthday Show

Two of Crotia's greatest footballers - Zvonimir Boban and Davor Suker confirmed their participation in the show celebrating next year's 50th anniversary of Bulgarian football legend Hristo Stoichkov.

Boban and Suker were two of the leaders of the legendary Croatian team of the 1990s, which finished third at the 1998 World Cup.

Three football players from Bulgaria's golden generation will join the show celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hristo Stoichkov next year.

The first Bulgarian players to confirm their participation in the show are Nasko Sirakov, Yordan Letchkov and Lyuboslav Penev.

Together with Stoichkov, they were part of one of the most successful football generations in Bulgarian history.

Two Romanian Football Legends to Join Stoichkov's 50th Birthday Show

Two of the greatest football players in Romanian history - Gheorghe Hagi and Gheorghe Popescu confirmed their participation at the 50th birthday show organised by Bulgarian legend Hristo Stoichkov next year.

Stoichkov played with both Hagi and Popescu during his spell at FC Barcelona.

Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona will visit Bulgaria next year to participate in the show celebrating the 50th birthday of one of the greatest Bulgarian footballers Hristo Stoichkov.

Stoichkov, who is the only Bulgarian to have been awarded the Ballon d'Or, is preparing a spectacular show for his birthday, the Bulgarian National Television informs.

Argentine soccer great Diego Maradona has decided to stand as a candidate for the FIFA presidency to replace Sepp Blatter, Uruguayan journalist and author Victor Hugo Morales has said. 

Morales said Maradona had told him of his intention when he called the former coach of the Argentina national team to check on the condition of his sick father on June 21. 

Maradona to play match for Colombia's peace process

Argentina's legendary ex-footballer Diego Maradona will play in a "pro-peace match" in Bogota this month to support Colombia's ongoing peace process, officials said Sunday.
      
The game will take place on April 10 at Techo stadium in Bogota, and will include other football greats whose names were not immediately released, a statement from the mayor's office said.
