Greece has got one final hurdle to clear on its way to Euro 2024, after thrashing Kazakhstan on Thursday with a 5-0 score in Athens.

The Greek national team has advanced to the final of its division in the UEFA Nations League and must beat Georgia away in five days' time to qualify to this summer's finals in Germany.

Fenerbahçe firmly cemented their status in the Turkish Süper Lig's title race with a comfortable 3-1 victory on May 3 against Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor at home. 

The Yellow Canaries finished the job early, scoring all their goals in the first half.

Turkish Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe claimed a critical away for the title race by sealing a 2-1 win against Medipol Başakşehir on April 18.

Fenerbahçe beat Trabzonspor 1-0 in a Turkish Süper Lig match on Feb. 28 to keep its title hopes alive, easing the pressure on coach Erol Bulut.

The visiting side's Greek midfielder Dimitris Pelkas scored the winner in the 76th minute when his long-range shot on a counterattack beat Trabzonspor goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır.

Olympiakos and PAOK scored comfortable home wins as they have turned the Super League into a two-horse race. Panathinaikos has climbed to fourth.

Olympiakos and PAOK scored comfortable away wins on Sunday to keep leading the Super League race after the 14th round of games, while Panathinaikos has risen to fifth for the first time this season.

Olympiakos defeated AEK on Sunday in the weekend's derby to remain on top of the Super League for one more week, with PAOK hot on its heels after its away victory at Volos on Saturday.
