BELGRADE - Donald Trump has been named TIME magazine's Person of the Year. Trump sees off former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, the Flint whistleblowers and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Each year, the magazine selects the person who has most influenced the news and the world over the previous 12 months.

President-elect Donald Trump was selected by TIME Magazine as Person of the Year, a choice that has not come as a surprise to many. However, to show precisely how disruptive an influence the contraversial billionaire has had on world events over the past few years, the magazine cover dubbed him: “President of the Divided States of America.”
