"This is an important day for all us," the Croat member of Bosnia's tripartite presidency, Dragan Covic, said on Monday after presenting the application for EU membership.

The Croat and Bosniak members of the Bosnian Presidency Dragan Covic and Bakir Izetbegovic met yesterday with the Turkish President Recep Tayyp Erdogan in the first of a two days visit to Ankara and Istanbul.

NATO Secretary General  Jens Stoltenberg has reiterated the call made by the Alliance foreign ministers last week to Bosnia and Herzegovina's leaders to undertake the political, economic and defence reforms needed for the country to realise its Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

Bosnian academics bestowed the honorary Isa-bey Ishakovic award, named after the 15th-century founder of Sarajevo, on Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Thursday to underline the importance of good relations between Bosnia and Croatia.

The Bosnian Croat chairman of Bosnia's presidency, Dragan Covic, said on Sunday that he will participate in the international summit focused on the struggle against ISIS and other forms of violent extremism which will take place in New York at the end of the month.

Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic on Sunday said Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be the first ex-Yugoslav republics to sign a border demarcation agreement.

After meeting the President of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Covic, in the town of Tivat, Vujanovic said the agreement would be signed  by the end of August in Vienna.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic was "a brilliant host" on Wednesday in Belgrade, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina Dragan Covic has said.

According to Covic, who represents Croats in the tripartite body, Vucic "showed how friends and guests one invites should to be welcomed."

Mufti of Serbia Muhamed Jusufspahic says it is "up to us to, with our own effort, get out of situations we have been brought to by the mistakes of others."

Bosnian Presidency member Dragan Covic, who represents Croats in this collective body, says he has not been invited to attend the Operation Storm parade.

Members of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina will today arrive in Belgrade where they will speak with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.

Dragan Covic, Bakir Izetbegovic, and Mladen Ivanic accepted Vucic's invitation to come to Serbia in order to "relax" relations between the two countries, sent after Vucic was attacked during the Srebrenica commemoration.
