A hand grenade was thrown at the home of Leposavic mayor Dragan Jablanovic, father of controversial ex-minister Aleksandar Jablanovic, amid tensions over a split in the Kosovo Serb political bloc.

Serbian parliamentarians in Kosovo who have been boycotting the country's institutions for more than two months on Monday signalled that they may call it off if a deal signed with Kosovo's ruling parties is honoured in full.

Serbs threaten to "leave institutions" over arrests

ZUBIN POTOK -- Serbs representatives in Kosovo held a protest rally in Zubin Potok on Monday, and warned they would "consider the possibility of leaving Kosovo institutions."

The Community of Serb Municipalities, which represents Serbs in the north, made its threat at a protest in the northern town of Zubin Potok on Monday, held under the slogan “We are All the Same - Who is Next?”

BELGRADE - Following the Serbian government's decision to back the participation of the representatives of the Srpska electoral list in the Kosovo-Metohija legislative elections, a meeting has been held at which the conclusion was made that Serbs in northern Kosovo will heed the government's call to vote in Sunday's elections, the government Office for Kosovo-Metohija said in a statement.

Serbs in south to be called on to participate in polls

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- Representatives of the Srpska election list south of the Ibar River in Kosovo will invite people to go to the polls on June 8, it was reported late on Tuesday.
