Heavy rain halts coal production in Drmno
KOSTOLAC - Heavy rain, which fell incessantly for over 15 hours in the area of Kostolac, eastern Serbia, sank the Drmno open-pit coal mine Thursday and reduced electrical energy production at the Kostolac Thermal Power Plant (TE Kostolac), but great effort is being made to get the plant back to operating at full capacity.
