AI to bring Edith Piaf voice back to life for biopic
A new biopic on the life of Edith Piaf will use artificial intelligence to allow the French star to narrate her own story, Warner Music and her estate said on Nov. 14.
"Edith" is "in the final phase of development," sources close to Warner Music France said, but no release date has been scheduled.

Italian rockers Maneskin win pandemic-defying Eurovision
Italian rock foursome Maneskin won the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam on May 22 in a glammed-up message of hope for a world emerging from the coronavirus pandemic.
As the tournament returned after a year off because of the virus, the high-kicking, lederhosen-wearing Italians beat off stiff competition from France and Switzerland with their song "Zitti e Buoni".
Eurovision makes COVID-lite return in the Netherlands
The kitschy glamour of Eurovision is back, with the Dutch hosting a scaled-down, coronavirus-safe version this week after the song contest was canceled last year.
Around 3,500 COVID-tested fans will be allowed to attend the May 22 final in Rotterdam as the return of the pageant injects some glitz into Europe's cautious reopening.
