4.6 magnitude earthquake shakes eastern city of Malatya
A 4.6 magnitude earthquake rattled the eastern province of Malatya one day after another moderate-scale tremor, the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) has announced.
The earthquake occurred at 12:34 p.m. on Dec. 28, with its epicenter situated in the Yeşilyurt district, reaching a depth of 17 kilometers, AFAD said in a written statement.

Hatay’s artifacts moved to Kırşehir Museum
Nearly 400 small artifacts in the Hatay Archaeology Museum, some of which got damaged during the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes in February, were sent to the Kırşehir Museum for protection against aftershocks.
Approximately 150 artifacts, weighing tons, are also preserved in their own places in the museum with a method of on-site preservation.

4.8 magnitude quake hits northern province
A 4.8 magnitude earthquake rattled the southern province of Bolu, while the tremor was also felt in Istanbul, the capital Ankara and the neighboring province of Düzce, the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) has announced.
The quake occurred at 1:55 p.m. in the province of Bolu, and its depth was determined as 8.18 kilometers, AFAD said in a statement.

Houses damaged after earthquake in central Turkey
The Sarıoğlan district of the Central Anatolian province of Kayseri was hit by a magnitude 4.9 earthquake early on Jan. 19.
"The earthquake occurred at a depth of 23.7 kilometers at 02.28 a.m.," the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) announced.
