In an interview with BTA, Bulgarian MEP Eva Maydell, representing the European People's Party/GERB, emphasized Bulgaria's need to prioritize efforts towards achieving full Schengen membership. Maydell's remarks come amid ongoing discussions surrounding Bulgaria's path to integration and the potential implications of semi-European solutions such as the Mini-Schengen Area.

Bulgarian MEP Eva Maydell from GERB and the group of the European People's Party is expected to replace Mariya Gabriel in the European Commission, Politico reported.

As one of the MEPs who worked most actively on the creation and distribution of the European Fund for Strategic Investments under the Juncker Plan, I am proud that Bulgaria ranks fourth in the European Union in terms of attracted investment in terms of gross domestic product.

Late last night, the names of all 17 new MEPs became clear. The CEC officially announced the results of Sunday's European elections. Thus, 5 Bulgarian parties and coalitions will have their representatives in the new European Parliament. These are GERB, BSP, DPS (MRF), VMRO (IMRO) and Democratic Bulgaria.

Maryia Garbiel, Bulgaria's current European Commissioner, leads GERB's list for the European elections, reports BNT. 

At a forum in the National Palace of Culture on 31st of March, GERB (majority partner in the ruling coalition) announced the list of candidates for the elections for members of the EP.

The EU is a long-term guarantor of the quality and stability of our economy, says the MEP, reported NOVA TV. 

"The majority of Bulgarian and European citizens have clearly said that the change of time by one hour ahead and back has a negative impact on them, so MEPs have united behind the citizens and asked that this clock rotation should stop 2021. "This was stated by Eva Maydell on the occasion of the vote on the European Parliament's position on the subject.

The European Union meets in Strasbourg 100 days before the European elections, reported the Bulgarian National Television. 

373 million Europeans will have the right to vote at these European elections. 3.4 million will vote for the first time. These data was reported during a press conference.

Three Bulgarian students were among the winners of the Space Tube project supported by Microsoft, Airbus and 3M. Students from several European countries, including Bulgaria, were provoked to test their knowledge and explore space, the press service of GERB said.

European Commission Vice-President Valdis Dombrovski is visiting Bulgaria on 28th of January, reports BNT. 

At the House of Europe in Sofia, he will take part in a civil dialogue on the topic "Bulgaria's path to the euro".
