Prison sentence upheld for former court member

Turkey's Supreme Court on March 20 upheld the prison sentence handed to a former Constitutional Court (AYM) member for being a member of the FETÖ, the group behind the 2016 defeated coup attempt.

With the approval of the Supreme Court Criminal General Board, Erdal Tercan will serve 10 years, seven months and 15 days in prison.

Greece is safe haven for FETÖ terrorists: Turkish Foreign Ministry

It is observed that Greece has become a haven for the members of the FETÖ, the group behind the 2016 defeated coup in Turkey, a Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman said on March 12. 

Hami Aksoy responded to a question in a written statement and said FETÖ propaganda was made public in an online event held in Greece.

Turkey, US can resolve issues through constructive dialogue, presidential spokesperson says

There is not a "very pessimistic picture" of the differences between Turkey and the United States, however, Ankara believes that the two NATO allies can solve these issues through a "constructive dialogue and by speaking very transparently and sincerely," Turkey's Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın has told Bloomberg.

FETÖ ad removed in New York’s Time Square after fallout

A defamation campaign advertisement by members of the FETÖ against Turkey has been removed in New York City after backlash from the Turkish community. 

The anti-Turkey ad, broadcast on a screen in Times Square, prompted the Turkish-American National Steering Committee (TASC) and members of the Turkish-American community to protest.
