Some 27 billionaires made it to Forbes' Richest People in the World List this year with a combined net worth of $57.7 billion.
There were 26 people from Türkiye on the list last year with a total net worth of $52.5 billion.

Garnbret makes Forbes list of most influential young athletes
Slovenian sport climber Janja Garnbret has made it to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in sports and games in Europe, placing alongside athletes such as NBA star Nikola Jokić, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Formula One driver George Russel.
The magazine notes that Garnbret, 24, is the first Olympic gold medallist in sport climbing and that she has won six World Championships.
