Lajovic beats Ruusuvuori to advance to Indian Wells second round
INDIAN WELLS - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic is through to the second round of the Indian Wells ATP tournament after beating Finn Emil Ruusuvuori 7-5, 6-2 on Thursday.
Lajovic, who won after 97 minutes of play, will next face Frenchman Frances Tiafoe.

Djokovic beats Fritz to progress to US Open semi-finals
NEW YORK - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the US Open semi-finals after defeating American Taylor Fritz 6-1, 6-4, 6-4 in the quarter-finals on Tuesday evening.
Djokovic, who won after two hours and 38 minutes of play, is now 8-0 head-to-head against Fritz.
Djokovic, Wawrinka and Monfils to play at Srpska Open in Banjaluka
BANJALUKA - The world number one in men's tennis, Serbia's Novak Djokovic, Gael Monfils of France and Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland will play at the April 16-23 Srpska Open ATP tournament in Banjaluka, the organisers announced on Tuesday.
Serbians Laslo Djere, Filip Krajinovic and Dusan Lajovic will also compete at the tournament.

That brought him one step closer to becoming the first player to win a calendar Grand Slam, since Rod Laver back in 1969.
Djokovic won seven matches at the Australian Open, seven at Roland Garros and seven at Wimbledon.
