Turkish singer Gaye Su Akyol is coming to Greece to perform at Gazarte (34 Voutadon) in Athens on November 15 and at Mylos Club (56 Georgiou Andreou) in Thessaloniki on November 16. Anthropologist-turned-musician Akyol, along with her ensemble of Turkish musicians, brings a psychedelic rock twist to traditional Anatolian sounds. Tickets cost 25 euros at more.com.
Antalya Film Festival ends with award ceremony
The International Antalya Film Festival handed out the Golden Orange Awards for the 58th time in a ceremony held at Antalya Sports Hall.
Organized by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality under the leadership of Mayor Muhittin Böcek, the film festival came to an end with the closing gala and the traditional award ceremony on Oct. 9.

Istanbul Night Flight concerts to kick off in August
The Turkish metropolis Istanbul and Mediterranean resort city Antalya will host several concerts from August to November, organizers announced on June 28.
The concert series Turkcell Platinum Istanbul Night Flight will begin with the 60-person Night Flight Symphony Orchestra's Star Wars Cinema Symphony performance on Aug. 21, said organizer Events Across Turkey in a statement.
"Druga godba" festival divided between Piran and Ljubljana
The decision to move the first festival evening to Piran came about among other things because of the support of the local community, Rok Košir, a member of the programme board, has told the press.

Cappadox festival set to revive Cappadocia
