Kostas Antetokounmpo awarded to Lakers on waivers
Kostas Antetokounmpo has been awarded to the Los Angeles Lakers on a waiver claim.
The younger brother of NBA Most Valuable Player Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, he spent much of last season in the NBA G League. He was waived by the Dallas Mavericks.

Bucks sign Antetokounmpo’s older brother
The Milwaukee Bucks signed NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo's older brother, Thanasis, to a two-year contract, The Athletic reported Sunday.
The 26-year-old forward was a second-round pick by New York in 2014 and appeared in two games with the Knicks in January 2016.
The Athens native won his second straight Greek League championship this season with Panathinaikos.

Giannis and the Bucks bow out after a great season
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 21 points for the Milwaukee Bucks, but that was not enough to stop the Toronto Raptors from winning Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals with a 100-94 score and advance to the NBA finals.
The Bucks had led 2-0 in the series but the Raptors bounced back to win the series 4-2 and win the conference finals for the first time in their history.
