ND expresses concern over PM's visit to Turkey

Gov't under fire for failing to submit official translation of FYROM constitution
Greece's conservative opposition on Tuesday criticized the government for failing to submit in Parliament an official translation of the constitution of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) following the recent amendments in line with the so-called Prespes deal.
ND official: Turkey cannot question international law in Aegean
New Democracy's shadow foreign minister Giorgos Koumoutsakos on Friday said Greece will not accept any challenge to international law by Turkey, following a meeting of the National Council for Foreign Affairs (ESEP).
"We will not tolerate any challenge to international law and the existing situation in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean," he said.
ND says irredentism endures in FYROM's constitution
The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) took another step at the weekend toward ratifying the name deal with Greece, as the Commission for Constitutional Affairs approved the draft amendments to the country's constitution to change its name to North Macedonia.
Koumoutsakos takes dig at Kotzias over foreign policy tweet
New Democracy's shadow foreign minister Giorgos Koumoutsakos took a dig Sunday over a tweet by the country's Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias in which he outlined the principles of sound foreign policy-making.
"The absolutely fundamental, obvious and self-evident [elements] are presented as the definition of 'inspired' foreign policy," Koumoutsakos tweeted.

New Democracy's shadow foreign minister Giorgos Koumoutsakos on Thursday criticised the lack of information from the government on the rift caused between Greece and Russia, after it was revealed on Wednesday that Greece would expel two Russian diplomats and bar two more Russians from entering the country.
NATO invitation to FYROM cannot be recalled, says ND official
The invitation extended to the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) by the member-states of NATO cannot be recalled, New Democracy's shadow foreign minister Giorgos Koumoutsakos said on Thursday, speaking at TV station Skai.
Koumoutsakos said the invitation will start a series of procedures, some of which technical, which will produce "specific results."
ND slams gov't 'propaganda' after Zaev comments on army
New Democracy said on Thursday that the government's "propaganda" about the name deal with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) has been 'demolished' after the Balkan nation's Prime Minister Zoran Zaev referred on Wednesday to a "Macedonian army" that will join NATO.
