The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and the Atlantic Council will hold a digital event on Tuesday on the "East Med and the trilateral partnership (Greece-Israel-Cyprus) and its role in regional energy security and economic cooperation in the age of Covid-19 and beyond."
The event will take place from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m.

Cypriot cabinet approves EastMed pipeline
Cyprus' cabinet ratified on Thursday a bill on the EastMed gas pipeline project the country's Energy Minister Giorgos Lakkotrypis said in a statement.
Speaking after the meeting, Lakkotrypis said this project "has a chance to materialise."

On Thursday, Cyprus, Greece and Israel will sign, in Athens, an Intergovernmental Agreement on building the EastMed natural gas pipeline, and Italy's Minister for Economic Development Stefano Patuanelli, whose portfolio includes Energy, has sent a letter of support for the project to his Greek counterpart, Environment and Energy Minister Kostis Hatzidakis.

Nicosia grants approval to ENI, Total to drill in Block 7
Nicosia has granted approval to the energy companies ENI and Total to explore block seven of Cyprus' exclusive economic zone (EEZ) and approved nine other drilling operations within the EEZ over the next two years.
The approval was finalized in a cabinet meeting on Monday following recent indications by Energy Minister Giorgos Lakkotrypis that an agreement was in the works.
