Montenegro 2023: Deciding between the Past and the Future

On 19 March 2023, presidential election will be held in Montenegro for the eighth time since the introduction of the multi-party system in this country and for the fourth time since its independence was proclaimed in 2006. 542,154 voters will be eligible to give a vote.  The president of Montenegro is elected in a single national-wide constituency based on the two-round system.

Serbian Police Ex-Commander Wanted in Kosovo for War Crimes

Special prosecutor Ilir Morina told BIRN Kosovo's 'Kallxo Pernime' TV programme on Wednesday evening that the former commander of Serbian police special forces, Goran 'Guri' Radosavljevic, is one of the suspects wanted for the Recak/Racak massacre on January 15, 1999.

"As far as the Kosovo state prosecution knows, he is in Serbia," Morina said.

Dragić reuniting with national team to defend EuroBasket title

Ljubljana – Slovenian basketball star Goran Dragić has decided to rejoin the Slovenian men’s team to defend the 2017 title at this year’s EuroBasket in what is a change of heart after bidding his teammates farewell. As team captain Dragić played a major role in Slovenia’s becoming the European basketball champion five years ago.
