Prince Charles Philip Arthur George, the eldest son of the late British Queen Elizabeth II, has been officially proclaimed as the next British king with the name Charles III.

Donors have pledged $250 million to educate over one million Syrian children this year but an additional $500 million is urgently needed to fund the program in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan, the U.N. envoy for global education said on Jan. 12.

Opposition leader Ed Miliband insisted he was ready to be Britain's next prime minister as he launched a manifesto April 13 designed to boost his party's reputation on the economy.

Ed Miliband’s secret affair with a BBC financial editor while he was employed in the UK’s finance Ministry was revealed by his wife, Justine Thornton. The wife did not name any names, however, although the“Daily Telegraph” claims Miliband was dating Stephanie Flanders.

Britain's Daily Mail newspaper reported on Monday that Serbian Prime Minister Aleksander Vucic is to offer veteran British politician Mandelson an advisory contract.

“He’s is one of the brightest guys I’ve ever met,” said Vucic, according to the Daily Mail.
