Hamza bin Laden

Osama bin Laden's son was killed in a US special operation. This was announced by President Donald Trump after last month the United States Secretary of Defense Mark Esper said that Hamza bin Laden, known as the "Prince of Jihad," is dead.

Hamza bin Laden, son of slain al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, was killed in a U.S. counter-terrorism operation in the Afghanistan-Pakistan region, President Donald Trump confirmed on Sept. 14.

Donald Trump threatened to release Islamic State (ISIS) fighters detained in Syria to Europe if Europe does not take them back voluntarily, Rudaw reported. 

Hamza Bin Laden, the son of the founder of the al-Qaeda terrorist network - Osama Bin Laden, was killed during an air strike.

This is claimed by US media, citing their intelligence sources. It is not clear exactly when and where Hamza died, but it is believed that this has happened in the last two years.

The Pentagon did not comment on the information.

The United States believes that Hamza bin Laden, a son of slain al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and himself a notable figure in the militant group, is dead, a U.S. official said on July 31.

The location of Hamza bin Laden, sometimes dubbed the "crown prince of jihad," has been the subject of speculation for years with reports of him living in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria or under house arrest in Iran.
