"Serb members of Kosovo assembly did not vote for Thaci"
Aleksandar Vucic said on Saturday that he was "not happy or satisfied" that Hashim Thaci was elected as Kosovo's president.
However, he noted this was "what the ethnic Albanian majority wants."
Assembly in Pristina elects Thaci as Kosovo president
Hashim Thaci has been elected as Kosovo's president in the third round of voting in the Kosovo assembly in Pristina on Friday.
Among those voting for Thaci, PDK party leader and currently a deputy PM in the Kosovo government, were reportedly the Serb (Srpska) List MPs, whom he thanked in his first address.
Hashim Thaci elected President of Kosovo
Hashim Thaci has been elected as Kosovo's president after 71 of the country's 120 MPs voted in favour of his nomination. Ten ballots were deemed invalid.
The alternative candidate, Rafet Rama, also from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, PDK, received no votes.

Protesters pitch tents in front of government in Pristina
Leaders of opposition parties in Kosovo announced on Tuesday they would protest around the clock in front of the assembly and government buildings.
Their goal is to prevent the election of Hashim Thaci as Kosovo's president.
