Coronavirus keeps receding
Ljubljana – The Covid-19 epidemic keeps receding in Slovenia with both new infections and patients in need of hospital treatment decreasing, data from the National Institute of Public Health and Health Ministry shows. Cases were down on Monday by nearly 22% week-on-week to 2,653, while three patients with Covid died.

Epidemic continues to ebb in Slovenia
Ljubljana – Slovenia confirmed 1,784 new coronavirus infections on Friday in what is the second day in a row that the figure dropped below 2,000 for the first time since early January. The total of active cases has fallen below 50,000.

Slovenia’s coronavirus curve keeps falling
Ljubljana – Slovenia’s daily coronavirus count continued its downward trajectory as 2,224 new cases were reported for Friday, down both on the day and the week before. Hospitalisations remained stable, but another 23 Covid-19 patients died yesterday, government data shows.

65 new coronavirus infections on Monday, one death
Ljubljana – Slovenia reported 65 new coronavirus cases for Monday in what continues to be a significant week-on-week decrease. A single Covid-19 patient died, show fresh official data. The seven-day average of new daily cases fell from 76 to 69 and the 14-day incidence per 100,000 residents dropped by seven to 66. Hospitalisations also decreased.

Number of new coronavirus cases remained high on Wednesday
Ljubljana – The number of new coronavirus infections again exceeded one thousand on Wednesday, standing at 1,164, which is a slight drop from the day before. Hospitalisations also exceeded the 500 milestone by one patient today, while 106 needed intensive care, seven more than the day before. Four patients died.
