Türkiye demands extradition of terrorists from Finland

The Turkish government has repeated its demand for the extradition of terror convicts from Finland in a lengthy technical meeting in Ankara on Oct. 25.

The officials from the justice ministries of Türkiye and Finland met in the Turkish capital and discussed the judicial cooperation between the two countries in the context of the latter's application to NATO.

Talks to be held on Finland’s NATO bid

Finnish officials will arrive in Ankara on Oct. 25 to discuss their country's bid to join NATO, daily Milliyet has reported.

A delegation from Finland's Justice Ministry will meet Kasım Çiçek, the head of foreign relations at the Justice Ministry.

The talks will focus on the extradition of individuals Türkiye regards as terrorists.

Two workers have died and 13 others have been injured in multiple incidents across Turkey.

A chrome miner, Mustafa Evren, 45, died, and another miner, Ramazan Alç?, was severely injured in a collapse at the Hayri Ö?elman Chrome Mine Quarry in the Harmanc?k district of the northwestern province of Bursa at around 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 26, Do?an News Agency reported.
