Neda Gorge listed for environmental protection

Police crack down on human trafficking ring
Police have launched a crackdown on an organized crime group involved in human trafficking and document forgery across various regions in Greece.
So far, the operation involving approximately 200 police officers in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Ilia in the Peloponnese has led to the arrest of 36 suspects.

The destructive force of wildfires in Greece since 2003 has been illustrated in a study by the National Observatory of Athens, which showed 10 of the most severe ones destroyed more than 280,000 hectares of vegetation.

Heatwave’s Return Threatens Greece with More Destruction
