Romanian Pilgrims Flock to Saint's Shrine

Up to half a million Romanians are expected to take part in a three-day pilgrimage to a saint's shrine, which started on Friday.

Believers are lining up in queues stretching for miles to worship the relics of St Parascheva, which lie in the northeastern town of Iasi.

The Romania's Orthodox Church believes the saint's relics perform miracles.
