Ionut Misa

Mihaela Triculescu has been replaced by Mirela Calugareanu as head of the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF), by decisions of Prime Minister Viorica Dancila, published in the Official Journal on Monday. Triculescu became head of ANAF in January this year, replacing Ionut Misa.

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila on Thursday signed the decree on the appointment of Mihaela Triculescu, an economist with more than 19 years of experience in the private environment as head of the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF).

She is replacing Ionut Misa.

Finance Minister Eugen Teodorovici announced on Thursday that he asked Prime Minister Viorica Dancila to dismiss chairman of the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) Ionut Misa, and that he filed a replacement proposal.

Romania's Finance Minister, Eugen Teodorovici, on Sunday said he had ordered a probe into the tax agency and other affiliated agencies, claiming they had failed to get President Klaus Iohannis to pay about 1.2 million RON [about 260,000 euros] that he obtained from renting out a house, which he then lost in a court case.
