Turkey should play a strong role in implementing the sustainable development goals (SDGs) - a universal set of goals and indicators that U.N. member states are expected to use to frame their agendas and political policies - as it is one of the most outspoken countries pushing for these goals at the General Assembly, the U.N.'s resident coordinator in Turkey has said.
Government teams up with UN to prevent family, partner abuse
An agreement on cooperation in the prevention of domestic and partner violence and violence against children was signed in Belgrade on Wednesday.
