The Sofia District Prosecutor's Office has charged a 39-year-old man with threatening to kill an acting minister, the state prosecution announced.

However, the message did not say against which minister the threat was made.

According to information from the National Radio, this was the Minister of Defense Todor Tagarev.

The MP from "There Is Such a People" Iva Miteva insisted that early elections are not necessary, they are even dangerous at the moment.

Her comment comes a day after party leader Slavi Trifonov announced that TISP was leaving the coalition.

The lawyer Nikola Minchev is the new chairman of the National Assembly. He was the leader of the "We Continue the Change" list in Pernik.

He was elected with 158 votes "for", "against" 1 ("Vazrazhdane") and "abstained" - 72 (GERB and "Vazrazhdane").

Lyubomir Yakov, who threatened to murder the Speaker of Bulgaria's National Assembly Iva Miteva, will be under house arrest. This has been ruled by the Sofia District Court.

The Speaker of Parliament commented on the threat of murder made against her

"I do not pretend to be a prophet, but I still think that there will be a regular government in the next parliament and GERB will not participate in it. And now, because you said that someone insulted political parties, and there was no such thing. Now there will be, I will insult the GERB party and I will say that they are a mafia organisation", said Toshko Yordanov.

Without any debate, parliament accepted the proposal that the presidential election be held on November 14, 2021. The date was voted as the first item in the session that began this morning.

The proposal of the Presidential Council yesterday was the date to be November 7 or 14.

BSP and GERB said they prefer the 7th to avoid a run-off on the last possible election date.

There will be no official talks about the future government between the parties before the third term, but  "Democratic Bulgaria" and "Stand up. BG! We are coming!" announced that the Speaker of the 46th Parliament Iva Miteva has qualities and would be a great choice for Prime Minister.
