Serbian Museum Puts Mestrovic’s Vidovdan Sculptures on Display
An exhibition of sculptures by Ivan Mestrovic from the collection of the Serbian National Museum in Belgrade opened on Tuesday night at the museum.
During December and January, visitors to the museum will have an opportunity to see 40 works by the famous Yugoslav sculptor, most them created before World War I, the so-called "Vidovdan fragments".

85 years since the assassination of King Alexander Karadjordjevic, Vuk Draskovic, author of the book "Alexander of Yugoslavia", speaks for Prva TV about him as the victor of the two Balkan wars and the Great War, his historical role and tragic fate.

43rd FEST opens
BELGRADE - This year's International Film Festival FEST, the first competitive edition of the festival, officially opened in Belgrade's Sava Centre.
The 43rd FEST will be held under the slogan 'Here we are - in the constellation of winners'. The line-up will include 124 works of cinematic art - including 90 premieres - which will be shown by March 8 in a total of 242 screenings.

Exhibition 'Nobody is perfect' opens in Novi Sad
NOVI SAD - 'Nobody is perfect', an exhibition of caricatures by Yugoslav artists, from the collection of the National Museum in Belgrade, will open on Thursday, October 16, at the Pavle Beljanski Museum in Novi Sad.
The exhibition will be opened by graphic artist, caricaturist and illustrator Dusan Petricic, the National Museum released on Monday.

Night of Museums held in 43 Serbian cities, towns
BELGRADE – The 11th Night of the Museums was held last night in 43 Serbian cities and towns – including on 65 locations in Belgrade and 45 places in Novi Sad – once again drawing many visitors, the organisers said on Sunday.
From Saturday 6 p.m. to Sunday 2 p.m. many museum lovers spent another unforgettable night at their favourite art institutions, on squares and in streets.

What does 11th Night of Museums offer Belgrade?
BELGRADE – The 11th Night of Museums in Belgrade, which will have attractive exhibitions put on at 63 locations in the city, will be held on Saturday, June 7.
May 17, the previously announced date for the event, was used to collect humanitarian aid for those who have suffered consequences from the massive flooding hitting Serbia at the time.
