Sofia Will Host The World Congress of Information Agencies

The National Palace of Culture hosts the Sixth World Congress of Information Agencies, organized in Sofia by the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency and the World Council of Information Agencies.

The forum will be opened by President Rumen Radev.

More than 200 delegates from 100 countries will take part.The motto is "The Future of the News".

BUDAPEST - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic, who is on a working visit to Hungary, met with Hungarian President Janos Ader in Budapest on Friday.

Brnabic is heading a delegation of the Serbian government, which held its fourth joint session with the government of Hungary.

Serbian prime minister welcomed in Budapest

Orban welcomed Brnabic in front of the Hungarian parliament, in a red carpet ceremony.

The prime ministers will first hold a meeting, followed by a joint plenary session of their governments.

On the agenda are include projects that are currently under way, regional cooperation and improvement of overall bilateral relations between Belgrade and Budapest.

Hungary President Signs Law Threatening Soros University

Hungarian President Janos Ader on Monday approved a controversial law seen as targeting the respected Central European University founded by US billionaire George Soros, despite protests at home and abroad. The signing of the higher education legislation, the final legal hurdle before it passes into law, came after the largest street demonstration in Hungary in recent years, AFP reported.
