France slams Turkey-Libya maritime border delineation deal
The agreement on maritime boundaries in the Mediterranean Sea signed between Turkey and the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) infringes the interests and the sovereign rights of European Union member states, particularly of Greece and Cyprus, France said on Thursday, adding that the memorandum violates the UN Law of the Sea Convention.
Cairo meeting denounces Turkey’s Libya pacts
The foreign ministers of Greece, Cyprus and Egypt, Nikos Dendias, Nikos Christodoulides and Sameh Shoukry, along with their French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian, on Wednesday jointly denounced two memorandums of understanding signed between Turkey and the Tripoli-based government in Libya as illegal and invalid.

Foreign ministers discuss Libya crisis, EastMed in Cairo

Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias is heading to Cairo on Wednesday for a meeting of the Greece-Cyprus-Egypt tripartite partnership with his counterparts of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides and of Egypt Samekh Shukri, but this time the meeting will include the Foreign Affairs Ministers of France, Jean-Yves Le Drian and of Italy, Luigi Di Maio.
Turkish, Iranian top diplomats talk over Soleimani's killing
The Turkish and Iranian foreign ministers spoke over the phone on Jan. 4, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.
