Dream Machines | Hydra | To October 30
Investigating the repercussions of technology on the human imagination, "Dream Machines" is a group exhibition at the Hydra branch of the DESTE Foundation for Contemporary Art (deste.gr). Curated by Daniel Birnbaum and Massimiliano Gioni, over 30 artists are participating in the show, including Jeff Koons. The gallery is located at the island's Old Slaughterhouse.

Basel defies forecast of art market slowdown
The Basel contemporary art fair last week defied forecasts of a market slowdown, with wealthy collectors buying works with seven or eight-figure price tags.
At its VIP day on June 13, Zurich's Hauser and Wirth gallery sold a spider by Franco-American sculptor Louise Bourgeois for $22.5 million.

"Leaving Neverland" movie tells a story about two men telling a story how when they were children they have been sexually abused by the star. Hockney Painting Breaks Auction Record For Living Artist
A celebrated painting by British artist David Hockney has been sold at Christie's in New York for just over $90m (£70m) - an auction record for a work by a living artist, reported BBC.
Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures) had been forecast to fetch $80m.
It sold following a 10-minute battle between two rival bidders via telephone, after the price passed $70m.
