BUCHAREST - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic met with several European officials on the sidelines of a European People's Party (EPP) congress in Bucharest on Thursday.

After a meeting with Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Brnabic briefly met with Jens Spahn, an MP of Germany's Christian Democratic Union (CDU) who is also a former German federal minister of health.

German interim government will introduce harsh measures for unvaccinated people in order to curb COVID-19 and alleviate the pressure on hospitals due to a new variant of the virus - omicron variant.

From Sunday, all travelers arriving from the U.K. will have to submit to a quarantine period of two weeks, regardless of whether they can provide a negative test result for the virus.
