PM Janša discusses Afghanistan situation with US senators
Ljubljana – Prime Minister Janez Janša met on Friday a delegation of US senators who are visiting Slovenia on the occasion of Slovenian-American Friendship Day. During a working lunch the officials talked about current international issues, including the situation in Afghanistan, and relations between the US and Slovenia, Janša’s office said.

A key thoroughfare in the seaside resort of Varosha in the Turkish-occupied north of Cyprus has been renamed after the military commander who led the 1974 Turkish invasion of the Mediterranean island.
Monument of John Kennedy Will Be Placed in Sofia
In memorial to the 35th President of the United States, John Kennedy, a monument will put be in Sofia. The initiative was launched by US Ambassador Eric Rubin at a farewell meeting with the Center for Psychological Studies of a Farewell Event.
The place where the monument will be placed will be specified after it is accepted by the Sofia Municipal Council.

Bulgarians Spend Most of their Money on Food, Home and Transport
Food continues to be the most serious item in the Bulgarian budget, according to data from the National Statistical Institute, distributed on March 15 - World Consumer Day.
According to data for 2016, Bulgarians spend the most on food from their income - 37.3%. Secondly, the cost of housing and utility bills (17.3 per cent) and third - of transport (8.3 per cent).

Vucic: No one will be able to attack Serbia unpunished
President Aleksandar Vucic spoke at the Freedom 2017 event in Batajnica on Friday to say that "no one will be able to attack Serbia unpunished."
"We want a strong, developed state of Serbia which will guarantee peace and stability to all, and be a stable and reliable partner," Vucic said in his address on the occasion of WW2 Liberation Day of Belgrade.
