"The President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, has withdrawn the Mobile Package pact tonight and returned it to the Transport Committee. Voting on the Mobility Package will not be happening today. This Parliament should not look at this heavily and divided Europe dossier. " This was stated by Jordan Arabadjiev of the Union of International Carriers to NOVA.

Bulgaria and five other European countries have reached a partial compromise in the EP Transport Committee on the first Mobility Package related to the conditions of workers. This happened after a spectacular protest at the Luxembourg Square in Brussels and a unified position of the Bulgarian government, president and MPs.

According to Jordan Arabadjiev during the discussion in Brussels some of the states which we hoped of taking our side "betrayed us for the sake of agreements on other issues they were interested in", reports BNT.
